Sensei Ray Clubb has studied the Martial Arts since 1979 and has trained in Kajukenbo, Doshinkan, an eclectic style dubbed “The Way of the Dragon,” and Isshinryu. Beginning his Isshinryu journey in 1984, he received his First Degree Black Belt in 1994. He trained for two years with Master Rick Moneymaker, founder of The Dragon Society, who introduced Sensei Clubb to Small Circle Jiu-Jitsu, Chi manipulation, and pressure point fighting. Having owned his own Dojo, Sensei Clubb has taught Isshinryu off and on for 20+ years and currently teaches Isshinryu Karate at the Nashville Dojo and at Nashville State Community College. He currently holds the rank of Fifth Degree Black Belt.
